Four children's homes from Harare's high density suburbs have received an assortment of foodstuffs and clothing items from junior parliamentarians.

Speaking at the hand-over ceremony, Harare Metropolitan Province Junior Minister of State, Miss Tanatswa Masangomai said the donation is a result of concerted efforts from the junior parliamentarians who felt the urge to assist less privileged children.

New Start Children's Home founder, Dr Farag said he was impressed by the junior parliamentarians' gesture and urged the corporate world to emulate them and assist the underprivileged members of the community.

The beneficiaries of the donation are Hupenyu Hutsva, Matthew Rusike, Philadelphia and New Start children's homes.
