With only two days to go before the grand finale of Big Brother Amplified, one of Zimbabwe's tourism ambassadors and former Miss Tourism Zimbabwe, Vanessa Sibanda, is drumming up support for Zimbabwe's remaining housemate - Wendall.

The South African-based model, made her passionate appeal to Zimbabwe through Facebook on Wednesday and immediately got an overwhelming response.

In her message, Queen Vee said she would be so thrilled if Wendall clinches the coveted prize.

"Wendall needs votes to win BBA, I would be so thrilled if he wins . . . Zim needs to win BBA this time," she tagged.

She immediately got a response from one Sir Valentine Chadyiwa Sean, who reiterated the need to vote for the brother.

"Let's vote guys"

While there were several supporting comments, a number of snides also popped up saying, there was no way Wendall would win because of the conspiracy theory surrounding the BBA, that has given Nigeria a competitive edge against other contesting nations.

There were, of course, others who thought Wendall stands to benefit more if he loses.

"He stands a better chance if he loses...THREE HUNDRED GRAND. . . PEOPLE!!! . . . and u get to meet the President! . . ." posted Simba the Comic King .

Zimbabwe will on Sunday wait with bated breath to see if our wonder boy will bring the prize money home for the first time since the reality show was introduced to the region some six years ago.

Should he fail to make it to the top, we will also know that the trump card was pitted against him, right from the onset in favour of Nigeria, that we have all come to know as the "preferred brand of M-Net" because of its subscriber base.

We have all come to know that no matter how much Africa votes, the Nigerian vote is crucial to any result, making the whole show, nothing but just a "Nigerian affair".

The current season of Big Brother Amplified has already set new records for voting, thanks to ongoing audience participation.

Last week, over 1,4 million votes were logged, the highest of any Big Brother Africa voting period.

In addition, this current season has already achieved the highest cumulative total of any Big Brother edition, a total of 6,3 million votes.

With voting for the final already in progress, total vote numbers look set for a new record.

So with just two days to go, audiences are encouraged to vote for their favourite housemates.

Only you can decide which two winners go home with the big prize!

Competing for this year's big prizes are - Hanni (Ethiopia), Karen (Nigeria), Lomwe (Malawi), Luclay (South Africa), Sharon O (Uganda), Vina (Nigeria) and Wendall (Zimbabwe).
