Hurungwe village heads write down voters names

Heal Zimbabwe Trust has alleged that on Tuesday Hurungwe West, Village Heads Masarakufa, Marimo, Hwendere and Muindisi conducted meetings in their villages where they wrote down names of all people in their villages. The Trust said they told villagers that all those who would refuse to have their names written down were Temba Mliswa's supporters.
"They proceeded to Nyadara Growth point where they carried voter education campaigns and also urged people to vote for ZANU-PF candidate for the area, Keith Guzah or they risked being denied food aid," reported that Trust.
The Trust reported that in Tsholotsho's wards 1 to 9 and 21 ZANU-PF candidate for Tsholotsho, Jonathan Moyo's G40 campaign team and all ZANU-PF Ward coordinators held rallies in all the Wards in Tsholotsho where they urged people to vote for Jonathan Moyo.
"They also told villagers that they would vote according to their villages while queuing behind their Village Heads on the 10th of June," said the Trust.
In Headlands the trust said in ward 6 on Tuesday at 7am,Independent candidate, Albert Mukaratira's campaign team intensified on their door to door campaign as they distributed flyers that encouraged people to vote for Mukarakatira.
"Mukarakatira has been barred by unidentified alleged ZANU-PF youths loyal to Christopher Chingosho from holding campaign rallies in the area," said the Trust.
The Trust said in Harare Dzivarasekwa on Tuesday 9 June 2015, posters belonging to Independent Candidate for Dzivarasekwa,Tonderai Karimakwenda were being removed by unidentified alleged ZANU-PF youths who were replacing them with those of ZANU-PF candidate,Omega Sipani Hungwe.
In Kuwadzana on the 8th of June 2015, The National Constitutional Assembly candidate for Kuwadzana,Grant Tabvurei's campaign team was told by a group of unidentified ZANU-PF not to put up any campaign posters in Kuwadzana.
The Trust said in Pumula Ward 17 on the 8th of June 2015, National Constitutional Assembly candidate for Pumula Jackson Lunga, was summoned to Pumula East police station on allegations of stealing ZEC V11 forms. The outcome is still pending.
In Makokoba Ward 8 on the 8th of June 2015, ZANU-PF Politburo member Angelina Masuku was giving rice to people on condition that they vote for Tshinga Dube. This took place at McDonalds Hall in Mzilikazi..
The Trust said in Dangamvura Ward 7 the ZANU-PF affiliated Councillor Manyara Jusa is telling fellow ZANU-PF members not to tolerate other contesting parties. He addressed the ZANU-PF members at T n T Business Centre and told them not to tolerate any other opposition parties. This has culminated in posters of opposition parties being torn down.
By elections are being held in 16 constituencies today.
