Man (24) tries to rape 60-year-old woman

A Chiredzi man - Polite Makajani (24) ejaculated on the thighs of a 60-year-old woman after he allegedly failed to rape her.
The incident happened last Thursday.
In court, the complainant is said to have gone to her fields where she was looking for okra.
However Makajani followed and caught up with her.
He grabbed her by the neck and pulled her down.
Makajani then removed the woman's pants and tried to rape her but the woman resisted and overpowered the accused in the process.
Makajani could not control his passion and ejaculated on the complainant's thighs, the court heard.
Makajani of Lisenga village under Chief Tshovani appeared before Magistrate Tafadzwa Mhlanga last Saturday. He faced a charge of attempted rape.
