Under fire Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said he is not moved by growing accusations that he is leading Team Lacoste and dividing Zanu PF.

He told reporters that the accusations give him strength and will not distract him from doing his duties.

"Those false allegations will not deter me from performing my duties," he told reporters in Zvimba today.

He added, "Actually, it gives me strength. Are the allegations true? That is politics. People will accuse you, but you should continue with your work. People who discourage will always be there but it will give strength".

During a war veterans meeting with President Mugabe yesterday, Manicaland Provincial Affairs minister Mandiitawepi Chimene told Mugabe that Mnangagwa was leading a parallel government.

She suggested that Mnangagwa should be  kicked out of Zanu PF during a special congress.

Said Chimene: "What was known as Tsholotsho was led by Cde Mnangagwa, this Lacoste is now led by Cde Mnangagwa..as you seat there you are now two Governments because some ministers are known to be supporters of Cde Mnangagwa.

"They started way back when we heard of Tsholotsho….we have nurtured it..it's now here again, if people are smart they create something that looks like this.

"The person who created Lacoste also created G40…I know of Lacoste and the leader. I'm accused of being a G40 member."

"Zanu PF now needs culling just like animals…crocodiles should go to the river, they cannot be in Zanu-PF because Zanu-PF is not a river..don't be scared."
