Four men up for stock theft

Four men from Maphisa in Kezi have been dragged to court for theft of ten heifers belonging to another villager.
The four Lucian Masuku (23), Danny Ndlovu (61), Leonard Dube (21) and Trust Nkomo (36) appeared before Kezi magistrate Jimmy Ntonga charged with stock theft.
They were denying the charge.
Prosecutor Smart Tafireyi told the court that between November 2016 and March 2017 at Mahetshe grazing area the four allegedly stole ten beasts belonging to Edwin Ncube.
The owner discovered the theft and reported to the police. Investigations made led to the arrest of the four.
