Heroes never looked back

Heroes never looked back,
In their desire to liberate Zimbabwe,
They took it forward like preying lions,
They took the struggle to the top,
Stiring those who had turned on their fearful hearts.
The love to marry guns wedded in many,
Beginning a nightmarish journey to freedom,
They tied their hands and gidle across the wilderness,
Some reached, some returned with some got fallen.
Today tears drizzle down the ridges of our cheeks,
While memories fight a patch of ignorance,
We are empowered, we are indeginised.
We now sit on the plataeu that wombs our wealth,
With fruitful Command farming and yet to grow trading zones.
Long live our our Heroes,
Long live sons and daughters of Zimbabwe,
Heroes never looked back.
