Today's word from the Chaplin's desk

Isa 50:4 "The Lord God has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, he awakens My ear to hear as the learned.

*Christ our example*

We should accustom ourselves to speak in pleasant tones, to use pure and correct language, and words that are kind and courteous. Sweet, kind words are as a dew and gentle showers of the soul. The Scripture says of Christ that grace was poured into His lips that He might "Know how to speak a word in season to him who is weary" Psalms 45:2.

We, in the example of Christ ought to know what to speak in season. To impart hope and courage to the hopeless. My heart is pained when l try to recall the numerous curses l've heard directed to street kids, curses from hateful guardians to the orphans left at their hands. Most oftenly resulting to low self esteem in these kids. Brethrens we ought not to do these things, rather, emulate Christ.

It is for this cause that TROVOCO has chosen to align itsef to these (kids).

Elsewhere in the Bible, James 3:10 records "Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things out not to be so."

In Christians who profess His Faith, there should manifest a growing distaste for careless manners, unseemly language, and course thought, when Christ abides in the heart, there should be purity and refinement of thought and manner.
