Gono should be considered next president: Politburo members

President Mugabe spoke truth and sense to his political comrades when he declared that none of them was suitable to take over from the veteran leader. All the front runners touted by paid parrots are selfish, self-serving with a dubious proclivity to corruption, nepotism and mafia tendencies.
However, Robert Mugabe has to be replaced sooner or later and its time Zimbabweans in particular ZANU PF members start weighing their options honestly and diligently.
In this article I put it to you that Gideon Gono is the most capable and suitable person to succeed President Robert Mugabe.
Emmerson Mnangagwa is limited by a number of factors that hang over his reputation such as his presence in government as one of Mugabe's top advisors since 1980, this implies that as an advisor he is partly responsible for the degeneration of the Republic.
During the Gukurahundi era Emmerson Mnangagwa was the Minister of State Security meaning that he was responsible for the intelligence that lead to Gukurahundi. Secondly, structurally the Joint Operations Command JOC is chaired by the Minister of State Security when the nation is in crisis mode such as was the case during the Gukurahundi period.
Emmerson Mnangagwa cannot be trusted to lead the nation. President Mugabe knows that hence Joyce Mujuru was elevated ahead of Ngwena in 2004. It is sad that paid parrots such as Tsenengamu are leading the public rally for Ngwena's ascendency to the head of the Republic. It leaves one wondering why tried and trusted cadres like Oppah Muchinguri, Mike Madiro and others are not in the forefront campaigning for Mnangagwa. Many loyalists have learnt the hard way that Emmerson Mnangagwa looks out for himself and his closest relatives. This is not the type of person we can trust to lead the defence forces of the Republic.
Gideon Gono is a man who has assisted several men and women in business. From the time he was at CBZ he put his heart towards the growth of small businesses and economic transformation. Dr. G does not carry the taint of Gukurahundi, neither does he bear the mark of any faction or tribe.
The former Reserve Bank Governor has captained the monetary policy ship during turbulent times and managed to hold the fort and his efforts kept President Mugabe and ZANU PF in power.
On a personal level Emmerson Mnangagwa is a man devoid of any and all sexual morality. How does a man impregnate and raise a child with a personal assistant while he is married to two women ? This is moral corruption that taints the Christian values of Zimbabwe as a God fearing nation. The article does not seek to embarrass anyone, but when a man wants to lead, he becomes an exemplary, role model to those he will lead and Emmerson Mnangagwa is not the person I would want my children to look upto as a role model.
Gono is a statesman in the making, a cool, level headed thinker who has built good rapport with international bankers, securocrats, party cadres and even opposition politicians. Gideon could play the role of unifier and leader in the growth process of the Republic.
Gideon Gono is what Zimbabwe needs after President Mugabe's term expires. I put it to you Zimbabwe and the world that Gideon Gono has more charisma, stamina and a backbone to lead the nation to a place of growth and stability. Unlike the cowardly Emmerson Mnangagwa who failed to face Blessing Chebundo, surely if Ngwena were to run for President against Chebundo he would be thoroughly thrashed to a point were he would rather stand as president in Zambia, since he is known for running away from battles. The liberation struggle, Tsholotsho declaration, Kwekwe etc have all demonstrated that Emmerson Mnangagwa is a lizard with aspirations of becoming a crocodile yet can never take responsibility for anything in his entire life.
If Gideon Gono is not interested in running for President I would rather tout Oppah Muchinguri as the next President she has demonstrated that she has more balls, and potential to lead than Emmerson Mnangagwa, and with that I urge Tsenengamu to take a seat and cool off his rear- hinds. We do not want or need Emmerson Mnangagwa both senior and junior.
