Eddie Cross misleading people

Is this a case of singing for one's supper or blatant ignorance?
Gukurahundi Genocide Survivors for Justice finds it totally misleading for the erstwhile Eddie Cross to make a blanket statement about a supposed attempted coup by Zipra in Zambia during the struggle for Zimbabwe. ZAPU UK province has vehemently disputed Eddie Cross's claims and challenged him to.produce proof of the alleged attempted coup. The man has not provided the proof yet. We doubt if he ever will.
Mr Cross is trying to justify Gukurahundi by cooking up an attempted coup, something Jessy knows never really happened. We ask again: Is Mr Cross singing for his supper or is he downright ignorant of the actual factors which culminated in Mugabe's moment of madness? Every sane person would submit to the fact that whatever extenuating circumstances, nothing, absolutely nothing justified Gukurahundi. Nothing justified the wanton butchering of innocent civilians. They were slain like animals, their bodies left to rot away in shallow graves. What of the little babies who were murdered alongside their parents. Where they also part if the coup? What kind of a monster puts a wailing baby in a mortar and grinds it to pulp with a pestle? What kind of monster crushes to death an unsuspecting baby against a wall? What kind of a monster forces a father and daughter/mother and son to be intimate with each other? What kind of a monster orders son to kill father and vice versa in full view of the family?
The alleged coup by Mr Cross singing would certainly not justify all this.
We are dismayed that a man of such high standing would come up with such utterances. It's very irresponsible. In another article Mr Cross says Gukurahundi killed about 80 000 people. We strongly refute that as no one has ever gone out collate all the data on Gukurahundi atrocities. The Catholic Commission for Justice and Peace concentrate mainly on the areas called Gukurahundi hot spots (Bhalagwe, parts of Lupane, Tsholotsho, Nkayi). Nothing is said of Gukurahundi activities in Bulawayo, Binga, Beitbridge. We believe Gukurahundi murdered far more than Eddie Cross's 80 000 estimate. We call upon human rights bodies to put pressure on Robert Mugabe to allow us to do free survey and data collation on Gukurahundi the whole of Matebeleland and the Midlands without hindrance from his state agents.
