Statement on Zimbabwe State of Affairs

(The Zimbabweans in The Diaspora)

WHEREAS
Like many other Nations We differ in political views and life outlook,

WHEREAS
Many of us have left our country in circumstances more cruel than friendly because we held a political view different to that held and practiced by Zanu and in particular President Robert Gabriel Mugabe,

WHEREAS
Loved ones continue to suffer pain from brutality of state police and haphazard decisions of political expediency continue to be taken, the grossly neglecting of the generality of the masses in the country on land distribution-rural and urban, housing, demolition of residences without compensation, concealed assaulting of common people without cause but now made public by individuals fed up of Mr Mugabe government of deception and brutality.

WHEREAS
We are agreed that Mr. Mugabe and his wife Grace and surrogates in Zanu are in breach of our constitutional rights on freedom to express ourselves and are grossly failing to uphold tenets of the rule of law apart from discriminatory practices on distribution of food aid that comes from international agencies,

WHEREAS
There will always be a few cohorts and surrogates of the ruling system who benefit materially at the expense of the country peace, stability, industrial and commercial deterioration, employment decline, wild increase in corruption based on neglect and failure of good governance by Zanu government,

NOW THEREFOR;
We Zimbabweans, ordinarily residing abroad and supportive of our families ailing under oppressive and draconian measures taken on them daily by the Zanu government of Mr. Mugabe in the last thirty-six years unabated,

CONSCIOUS AND AWARE
Of Zanu history on violence, brutality and murder of many Zimbabweans scot-free both at home and internationally,

BELIEVING IN THE ALL MIGHT POWER OF GOD,
Now believe this to be the time our Nation uses ONE voice, ONE love for each other and the country and use strong CONVRRSATIONAL AND CONSTITUTIONAL PEACEFUL METHODS, CONSISTENTLY WITHOUT FEAR OR FAVOUR, TO REMOVE ZANU GOVERNMENT AND
REPLACE IT WITH A TRANSITIONAL AUTHORITY to review misgovernance and prepare the country, people, political parties to run free and far elections together with the help of the United Nations (UN), African Union (AU) and her sub regional auxiliary organizations, Commonwealth of Nations, Red Cross International and any willing organizations provided they are supportive of Zimbabwean Team of Skilled Experienced professionals willing to work on transition for a duration of three years.

NOW THEREFORE
We condemn unreservedly the government of Zanu and its leader Mr. Robert Mugabe, some ranks of military hierarchy, and Police hierarchy for abusing citizens against each other using force of violence and patronage methods of five and conquer.

We applaud those soldiers who uphold their professional role to defend the nation and not to engage in torture of  it's citizens. We regret the mercenary attitude of some police under patronage influence and appeal that they consider their savage behaviour and revise in the national interest.

We applaud the common man for resilience and urge for bigger support for methods that will soon break the chains of oppression.

We support peaceful initiative by #The Flag voice, # the Tajamuka voice, #the Sokwanelle, Enough is Enough voice, #the Human rights Association of Zimbabwe voice, #WOZA voice and various political voices, etc, currently staging peaceful demonstrations in Zimbabwe against poor governance, corruption and injustice .

We pledge loyalty to God and allegiance for peace, love for people (each other), respect to the rule of law and separation of power and the supremacy of the Constitution.

We pledge to work along and together until peaceful transition is attained in the interest of majority of the country silent but resilient masses, workers, army, police and secret police who now at great danger to their lives are refusing to support the regime.

We plead with the World Political Elders to work closely with us and help bring collaboration of Zimbabwe citizens spread worldwide towards voting once positions on smooth transitions are established and help transport many back home to help in a Task if nation building.

We note that if Zanu government failings are prolonged, the country that already is ailing will have no future and its citizenry will live a life of disaster and homelessness.
