12/26/2015, 6:31 AM - +263 7* *** ****: CORRUPT TRAFFIC COPS IN CHIREDZI
The traffic cops in Chiredzi seems to be the leading cops as much as corruption is concerned. Travellers who stay in villages like Chishamiso, Dorman, Chivaraidze and other places in the Hippo Valley Estates spend some minutes as the drivers of the private cars ferrying passenger from Chiredzi town are stopped only to pay $5 for bribing the police.
If in Zimbabwe we have the anti-corruption team, we humbly ask them to stretch their net to this small town, they will surely manage to gain a very good catch. The traffic cops get so low as to shout at the drivers to bring cash especially along the Chiredzi-Checheche high way.
May the gvt intervene before these corrupt officers continue to abuse their offices.
Worried motorist.
