Thamsanqa Dube will be the centre of attraction when he takes on Flo Simba at Emperors Palace, Kempton Park, on Monday night.
Flo Simba returns to action after his sixth round stoppage loss to former IBF heavyweight champion Fransie Botha in June this year.
Now, returning to action in a bout scheduled for eight rounds, he has to prove that he suffered no damage, mentally or physically, from the only defeat on his record of 10-1, with nine knockouts.
The 22-year-old Simba was born in the Dominican Republic of the Congo but fights out of South Africa. He has built up a large following and a convincing win will put him back in the running for bigger fights next year.
Dube, who is from Zimbabwe, is 28 years old and has won his three of his last four fights inside the distance. He is expected to provide a tough challenge.
Thamsanqa Dube stopped Smart Nkomo in a fight for the Zambian title and Jake Els for the WBA Pan African title. Last December he beat Arigoma Chiponda on points over four rounds. In a return match in June he won on a first-round knockout.
