Former Dynamos striker Rodrick Mutuma is training with Bulawayo Giants Highlanders with indications being the Bosso technical team is impressed with what he has shown.
After having expressed his undying desire to don the black and white stripped Highlanders jersey the Prince as Mutuma is affectionately known is a step closer to realising his dream as he has started to train with the club.
Despite having had a love-hate relationship with the Bosso followers, Mutuma managed to catch the eye of the Bosso Dutch coach Erol Akbay who believes he can easily settle into his side's style of play.
Tshilamoya's acting chairman Modern Ngwenya highlighted that his executive stood guided by the technical team on the decision to take regarding Mutuma.
When pressed on what his recommendation would be to the Bosso executive, Akbay was assertive on what he wanted.
Should he manage to put pen to paper with Bosso, Mutuma will join the list of players like Stewart Murisa and Stephen Alimenda who have turned out for all the country's three giants Highlanders, Caps United and Dynamos.
Meanwhile, also being assessed during Bosso's training is Bantu Rovers' and national under 20 midfielder Denzel Khumalo and 4 players from a Canadian academy owned by a Highlanders supporter Isaac Mbedzi.
It is to be seen how the club that finished third in the 2016 season will perform in a year that the technical department was given a target of lifting the championship.
