Jay Jay Okocha confirm Mwaruwari's testimonial, Drogba, Yaya doubtful

Jay Jay Okocha and 25 other playing and retired international stars have confirmed their participation in Benjani Mwaruwari's testimonial match set for the National Sports Stadium next Saturday.
Organisers of the event yesterday told reporters in the capital that they had received confirmation from top stars who include Manchester City's Kolo Toure, Arsenal midfielder Alex Song, Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor, Christopher Samba of rich Russian club Anzhi, Fulham's Dickson Etuhu and Senegal international El Hadji Diof.
The organising committee chairperson Tsaurai Muzanenhamo said Chelsea stars Didier Drogba, Solomon Kalou and Michael Essien have also expressed their interest, but they have not yet guaranteed their participation as they are playing in the Uefa Champions League tomorrow.
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure also remains a major doubt after he limped off the pitch with an injury in his club's last match of the season.
The full contingent of the confirmed players is expected to touch down at the Harare International Airport next Friday aboard a chartered plane. The team, dubbed "Friends of Benjani" will play against the Warriors.
The cheapest ticket for the rest of the ground will cost $5 while tickets for Bays 15 and 18 will cost $10. Bay 17 will cost $20 and the VIP section is by invitation. Bay 16 has been reserved for corporates.
