CHELSEA legend Frank Lampard shocked fans all over the world yesterday, by scoring the equaliser against Chelsea for new club Manchester City.

One Ugandan Chelsea fan, and professional footballer, took the goal worse than others.

24 year old Fahad Musana, of Ugandan Premier League side Simba FC, was watching the game with friends in a Bombo Town makeshift video hall.

Musana had trained with his team earlier in the day and had featured in the opening day of the season 1-0 win over Entebbe FC this weekend.

He met his maker upon Frank Lampard's goal, allegedly suffering a heart failure.

Fred Kajoba, his coach at Simba FC said: "He even trained with us in the morning of the fateful incident and completed the session well."

Ugandan media agency Kawowo were first to report the story and tracked down his friend Bagoole, scorer of Simba's winning penalty over Entebbe.

He said that Musana successfully watched the Leicester City vs Manchester United match, and was keen to watch the second one (Manchester City vs Chelsea).

Bagoole said: "He has been a passionate fan of Chelsea and would do anything for the club, apart form gambling."

Reportedly enjoying the Chelsea game, Musana fainted upon Frank Lampard's equaliser and was long dead by the time he arrived at the nearby Bombo Military Hospital.

With virtually no recorded history of any ill-health, Musana's sudden death has come as a huge shock to friends and family in Uganda.

Kawowo media wrote: "Being a staunch Chelsea die-hard, it is believed shock might have led to his heart failure and breathing complications."

One lead suggests that Musana had suffered a slight knock to the head during the 1-0 win this weekend, but returned to the pitch soon after.
