VP Chiwenga Applauds US$30 Million Orange Juicing Plant in Beitbridge

Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has toured the newly operational Orange Ville Juicing plant in Beitbridge, hailing it as a strategic investment in Zimbabwe's rural industrialisation and national development.
Government spokesperson Nick Mangwana confirmed the visit via X, noting that the US$30 million facility, which has been active since July 2025, has already processed over 25,000 tonnes of oranges and currently employs 290 people, with the potential to create up to 3,000 jobs.
Chiwenga praised the plant's alignment with Vision 2030, highlighting its role in empowering local communities, building value chains, and fostering inclusive economic growth.
The project marks a significant milestone in Zimbabwe's agro-industrial expansion, positioning Beitbridge as a key player in the country's citrus processing sector.
