Oskido set to rock the City of King and Queens

SOUTH Africa-based DJs Oskido and Pepsi are expected in Bulawayo tomorrow afternoon ahead of their festive season gigs lined up around the city.

The fun starts tomorrow at Club Eden where Oskido will host a Christmas Party which will feature local DJs Kananjo, Slamma, Scooby, Sbago and Taunz.

Club Eden manager Manu Mahaso said entrance into the party has been pegged at $10 for standard tickets and $20 for VIP tickets.

Advance VIP tickets can be bought at the Casino Bar at Club Eden which is open every day.

"This is our own international star who was born and bred in Bulawayo so as Club Eden we are honoured to be hosting such an icon that is loved in Zimbabwe and South Africa," Mahaso said.

Meanwhile, preparations for the Kalawa Jazzmee Homecoming party taking place at Queens Sports Club on Saturday are at an advanced stage with the rest of the Kalawa family expected in the city from Friday. The party will see patrons being spoilt for choice with performances by veteran kwaito artistes, Alaska, Mduduzi Masilela, Mandoza, Zola, Jah Seed and Brickz.

A promotion which was launched by organisers of the Homecoming party saw one lucky fan, Sibonginkosi Moyo of Northend winning a VIP ticket yesterday.
