AFTER a mouth-watering performance by South Africa's revered spinner Oskido on Sunday, Bulawayo will on Saturday roll into the year 2012 with another house expert DJ C'ndo taking care of business.
The massive gig dubbed "Woza 2012 Bohlingers Tight Party" pitting the finest lady of house music, DJ C'ndo and Bulawayo's finest spinners, is set for Queens Sports Club.
Last year, the venue played host to the memorable "Woza 2011" gig, which has remained etched in the minds of many.
The gig saw the best of Durban artistes rocking Bulawayo till the break of dawn.
DJ C'ndo who needs no introduction in the city will be launching her latest album at the show.
The show, jointly organised by Delta Beverages and Events Africa, has an array of events lined up for the night.
Events Africa spokesperson Lungile Dube said it was a show not to be missed as there were a number of activities lined up before the gig.
"This is a must-attend as we have lined up a number of activities that will surely give revellers a good run for their money and kick-starting the New Year in style. We have a number of sporting activities such as darts, pool, wet T-shirt competition, gladiator duel, mud wrestling, and adult jumping castle," said Dube.
He said the first 200 ladies will gain free entry and two beers courtesy of Delta Beverages.
DJ C'ndo, born Sindisiwe Zungu, broke onto the scene a few years ago and is recognised as one of South Africa's most prolific turntable doctors.
The 27-year-old spinner is not new in Zimbabwe; she last performed at Sports 747 in June together with house music stalwart DJ Kent where they put up a brilliant performance.
Over the years she has released hit after hit that has ensured her survival in the music industry.
Some of the popular tracks are Terminator Amerido, Udaddy Onemali, 6 Pack featuring Big Nuz and Ngisemathandweni.
She will be playing alongside Botswana-based Otis Fraser, DJ Mphoe, Sbago, Scooby, Mark Vusani, Mzoe, Witch Dokta and Kead Wekead.
