Singer Andy Muridzo of Jeetaz band has rubbished his critics who are claiming that he bleached his skin saying they will not pull him down.
Muridzo is being ridiculed by many social media users giving him all sorts of names that attack his skin such as boss kedha and ambi.
Speaking on at the backstage of his Bindura show at Club 1160, the musician said the critics can say whatever they want but that will not stop him from forging ahead.
"People are always like that, they can say whatever they want about my skin but that will not stop me from going forward with music faya faya we are forging ahead, that is all l wish to say on the issue of my skin," Muridzo said.
He said he is currently working on an eleven track album to be released in August with various collaborations yet to be disclosed.
"I am busy working on my looming album Shiri yamambo to be released in August and l featured a number of artists which still remains my secret now as l finalise the album," he said.
Meanwhile, his show started at a slow pace with a number of people getting in after 12pm after the price had reduced.
A reveller Edward Katsvairo said Muridzo was initially charging 8 before 12pm which was too much for them and had to wait for the reduction of the admission fee.
"Muridzo was charging too much before 12pm , $8 is too much for a man of his calibre since he is still rising we had to wait until the admission fee was reduced to $5 whichis reasonable considering the economic harships we are currently facing, Katsvaira said.
Club 1160 proprietor Nyasha Muwomba sighed a relief in the early hours of Saturday after revellers finally packed the club.
"Before 12 pm l thought the show had flopped judging with the number that got in, but soon after mid-morning people flocked and packed the club as usual," he said.
