All is set for the much-anticipated Stunner album launch set for Pablo'z VIP Lounge at Sam Levy Village in Borrowdale tonight. Stunner will launch his album titled "If I die Tonight" at the event that will be graced by Jamaican dancehall musicians Kapital K and Sir Ford.
The two were expected to jet in yesterday afternoon and the glitz and glamour event will also see top deejays P Styles, T Bass and C Skillz performing. In an interview Stunner's manager Godfrey Bakasa said all is set and those invited should dress up for the occasion.
"We are breaking the ice of the norm that whenever an artist launches an album, it is just music and ordinary lifestyle on the night or day but we are bringing fashion too on ground. The event is a black tie affair and we are going to roll down the red carpet. We have invited a lot of notable high profile people especially those in the hip-hop community. We are happy that the duo from Jamaica is coming to support the event," he said.
Bakasa said the launch is not a fund-raiser as some might.
"We made it a strictly by invitation so as to get the business side of the launch with cooperates and other important people in business sector. This is not a fund-raiser as some people have claimed. However, we will open doors after 10pm for an after party session where fans and artists will mix and mingle," he said.
The album "If I Die Tonight" has tracks such as "Switch", "Time", "Impilo", "Ndiri Humble", "She" and "Photogenic" among others.
It also features some local musicians such as BaShupi, Albert Nyathi and Trevor Dongo.
