Mkhulu Sithupha (36) from Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga, a prophet selling holy water for R400 a litre tells desperate people can be healed if they drink it twice a day.
He has been selling holy water to sick people at shopping malls in the Eastern Cape but crippled Chumile Peta (46) is still waiting for his miracle.
Chumile's neighbour Mandla Tyobeka (46) told Daily Sun: "We met the prophet outside the KwaNobuhle Spar in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape on Monday morning.
"He told Chumile to come forward out of the crowd and promised to heal him.
"He said his holy water would cure Chumile after three days but it has not happened.
"He led us into a dark room and a voice said Chumile would get his life back if he paid the prophet R7000 to get rid of evil spirits. We left because we don't have that kind of money."
Eunice Ngqekelele (65) said she had been sick since 2011 and the prophet told her she had a snake in her womb.
"He told me he could heal me for R3500. I nearly went to the mashonisa to borrow money but my daughter said it was a scam."
The prophet told Daily Sun: "People from as far away as Durban and Gauteng phone me for my holy water. I don't cure Aids or make people rich. My job is only to heal.
"My ancestors gave me these healing powers in 2012. They told me to get this holy water from a waterfall. I asked that mute man for that amount because he needed a lot of work," said the prophet.
