Matopo High School students follow proceedings
"A book in the hands of a child can lead to endless possibilities. Imaginations can be ignited, doors can be opened and new worlds can be discovered". Inspired by this quote and in an effort to support educational institutions advance education opportunities for young people, Scotch Ndlovu last week donated a quantity of books to Matopo High School.
Ndlovu, a former student at Matopo High School donated more than 2,000 new books.

The school was presented with books at a ceremony held in Matopo. These books are a good mix of fiction, nonfiction, religious, historical, general knowledge and curriculum books.
In all, the donation totals around US$8,000.00.
The book donation forms part of his social responsibility to engender the habit of reading among students.
He observed that reading was fundamental if one was to function effectively in society; hence, the decision to donate the books to the school to enable the students discover new things for themselves, become creative and also develop their minds.
"I hope the comfort and excitement a book can bring to a person's life will help give these students a great start to the future", said Scotch Ndlovu.
There is a wealth of information to gather from books through reading, he continued.
Students were charged to take good care of the books so that it would benefit the future generation of students.
In attendance was the Interim Chairperson for Matopo Old Students Association Dumani Ndlovu and Reverend Albert Ndlovu.
