Pumula South man stabs colleague with screw driver at bus rank

A man from Pumula South has been arraigned before the court for allegedly stabbing a colleague with a screw driver in a dispute over unspecified issue.
Rolex Mpofu (30) was not asked to plead to assault when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Tinashe Tashaya. The magistrate remanded him in custody to October 6 for trial.
The court heard that Mpofu was at Bulawayo Bus Rank with Frank Mkandla of Old Magwegwe. The incident occurred on September 2, 2015 at 7am.
Mpofu stabbed Mkandla once on the thigh and he bled profusely.
Mpofu was arrested.
