Pothole patching in progress in Dzivarasekwa

Dzivarasekwa, Councillor for Ward 39 Gilbert Hadebe has told the residents in his ward that the roads patching in the ward was in progress while he said in the issue of water, a pump station was established despite the fact that there was still no water for the residents in some areas.
Harare Residents Trust said Dzivarasekwa, Councillor for Ward 39 Hadebe had the following to say when asked about service delivery issues by residents in his ward.
"Pothole patching is work in progress along Musika Road followed by Rujeko Street and Kwayedza. The issue of water, a pump station was established in 2013 but residents are not getting water on daily basis because of electricity challenges," Hadebe said.
"Three pumps were put in place and two of them are working directly to service residents. So far the Council is partnering with Red Cross and a quotation of six public toilets was given to them hoping that by the end of the year all Dzivarasekwa public toilets will be resuscitated."
He said on the issue of sewer burst pipes, the problem must be attended as soon as the matter has been reported.
"Residents should also tell me about issues which are not being attended to in time," he said.
