The People's Democratic Party official based in South Africa Fortune N. Mlalazi has claimed that First Lady Grace Mugabe and Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa are currently engaged in clandestine and secret deals with the former white commercial farmers in efforts to reverse the land reform programme in the post President Robert Mugabe era.
Mlalazi said Zanu PF is engaged in a process of reversing the land reform program of 2000-2008.
"In the bid to win global support in their succession battles both Zanu PF factions(Grace and Mnangagwa) have been clandestinely meeting former white commercial farmers and conning them," he said.
"The farmers are promised their farms back in the post Mugabe era. The Brits and the Aussies have fallen prey to this Zanu PF shadow boxing."
This happens at a time when the ruling Zanu PF is currently involved in a heated succession battle in which Mnangagwa is one of the faction leaders while Grace is also touted and the leader of the G40 with the aim that she succeeded her husband when he retires of in case of death.
