Barnabas Mwanaka, an MDC-T member is feared dead after he was seriously assaulted by heavily armed anti-riot police officers at Harvest House on Thursday.
The whereabouts of Mwanaka are unknown since he was taken by the same police officers who were driving in a marked police truck.
The state of other MDC-T members who were arrested yesterday is unknown as lawyers are being barred from seeing them.
Mwanaka is part of six MDC-T members who were arrested at Harvest House yesterday when armed police officers stormed the building around midday.
Mwanaka had to be dragged to the waiting police vehicle as he could not walk on his on due to the injuries sustained from police assault.
Others arrested are; Jephias Moyo, Leonard Dendera, Samson Nerwande, Partson Murimoga and Kudakwashe Usavi.
The MDC-T said it condemns in the strongest terms the heavy handedness that was shown by the police in arresting its members. It said it call upon the police to urgently make known the whereabouts of Mwanaka and the other members.
