Man invades home, claims married woman from hubby

A man from Matshobane high density suburb in Bulawayo got the shock of his life after a man pounced at his home and demanded his wife and child.
Happiness Mpofu and Reason Goto have been married for the past five years and they have three children.
According to a family member who requested anonymity, the couple's marriage has been sweet.
But it turned sour last week on Friday after a man only identified as Thabani pounced on their marital home.
The family member said: "Thabani was very angry and was shouting on top of his voice as he demanded Mpofu and his child. He was saying Mpofu is his wife and she had agreed to elope to him."
As a result drama ensued as family members restrained Thabani from gaining entry at the house and community members thronged the couple's home to catch a glimpse of the melee.
The drama went a gear up as Thabani claimed they had been having sex and that Mpofu recently aborted.
"Thabani said Mpofu committed abortion after discovering that she was two weeks pregnant and did that to save her marriage," said the source.
Mpofu confirmed the incident: "We were in love long back and we broke up before I got married to my husband (Reason). I asked Thabani not to ruin my marriage and he has to accept that I'm now somebody's property. It's a lie that I aborted."
Mpofu went on to say they were now on separation with her husband as the issue was being solved my elders of both families.
Despite the shocking incident Goto said he still loved his wife.
"You know such things emotionally drain and leave one confused especially in this case where I have three children with her (Mpofu). But after our parents talked to us, I will not divorce her and I still love her," he said.
Reason's mother Roslyn Siziba was at a loss for words.
"We are shocked and worried that our family name has been dragged through the mud. Now many people believe Thabani's side of story and as such I don't know what to say," she said.
