Man slaps bar lady for refusing to give him beer on credit

A 42-year-old Guruve man was arraigned at Guruve magistrate court for slapping a bar lady twice on the face after she refused to give him beer on credit.
The public prosecutor Ms Venesensia Musiiwa told the court that on 14 June 2017 Christopher Mukwenya demanded beer on credit from Tarisai Ngwerume (26) a bar lady at a local bar in Guruve.
Mukwenya's request was turned down by Ngwerume and the accused in rage slapped her twice on the face.
Guruve magistrate Mr Shingirai Mutiro slapped him with US$150 and three months imprisonment wholly suspended on condition of good behaviour for five years.
