Mthwakazi Republic Party has claimed to be continuing to touch the lives of the people of Mthwakazi as the party President met the old lobengula residents today through their invitation to hear more about the people's revolutionary party .

The party said the residents were very much delighted to meet the President and vowed to give their votes to team MRP come 2018 elections.

The party said they did not hesitate to complain about their councillor for ward 12 whom they said she is always avoiding them and she does not even attend funerals for the affected residents and they had no kind words for the sitting councilor and former MP Samuel Siphepha Nkomo

"Councillor uziqhatshela abantu bakhe bodwa kumisebenzi enjengokudobha amaphepha fumed one elderly woman."

It said another resident fumed Samuel Siphepha Nkomo is always using them moving from one party to another, when they voted for him he was in MDC T, he left for Renewal team ,now he gather he is with NPP deputising Mai Mujuru to them he is a political prostitute who is self centered and greedy.

"We now have a ZANU pf MP in Njube-Lobengula because of characters like Siphepha Nkomo who never even consulted us . we gather he will represent NPP in next year elections in the same constituency, this time we want to teach him a lesson. We are voting for MRP as we are fed up of Harare led political parties who takes us for granted," said the party.

"They also complained so much about the main road which leads to Masiyephambili from Number 2 which has caused death to many people especially children, we have asked the councillor many times to put speed humps to this road that has become death trap but all our requests have fallen to deaf ears."

The party said the residents also complained about old lobengula football ground behind old lobengula housing office which is now subleted to a church without them consulted.

The party President Mqondisi Moyo was very much humbled about the people's support and promised that MRP is their home and together with them they will bring Mthwakazi independence.
