A house formerly used as a terror base during 2013 elections has caused controversy between two war veteran factions in Kadoma recently.
Zimbabwe Peace Project said a Zanu-PF supporter and member of the faction led by a war veteran popularly known as Comrade Lenny argued that the building reminded them of the atrocities committed during 2008 and 2013 elections thus it should be closed.
"The other faction led by Zanu-PF member, Tichaona Bvudzijena, argued that they still have use for the house in preparation for 2018 elections," ZPP reported.
"The two groups are said to have exchanged insults as they failed to agree on a way forward. A community member from Rimuka confirmed that initially the local women's club used the house to discuss community initiatives and projects."
