Prostitutes gang could get off the hook

Six prostitutes who are the main witnesses in the rape trial of four Battlefields-based youths have failed to appear in court to testify at a hearing on Tuesday, their lawyer said.

TabaniGazi (20), Prince Chirombo (18), and Admire Chirongoma (18) are currently in custody after being denied bail by Kadoma magistrate Amos Mbobo.

Magistrate Mbobo on Tuesday said he was considering giving the four free bail as the complainants continue to fail to pitch up to court.
