A 57-year-old Mvurwi woman has been arrested for cultivating cannabis in Impinge farm, Mashonaland Central.
Sources close to investigations allege Norah Mupanda (57) was arrested for unlawful cultivation of weed as defined in section 157 (I)(b) of the Criminal Law (Codification Reform ) Act Chapter 09:23.
"The accused person was arrested for cultivating 231 plants on dagga in her garden yesterday and is expected in court tomorrow," revealed the source.
Meanwhile, in another case, two people were also arrested yesterday at Mvurwi community bar after they were caught smoking weed.
The two are Tawanda Nkoka (19) of house number 1754 Rusununguko Mvurwi together with her female partner in crime Pauline Bhaera (23) of low density suburb Mvurwi.
