ZANU PF supporters break into party offices, steal mosquito net

Two Mbire ZANU PF supporters were hauled at Guruve magistrate court facing unlawful entry and theft charges, inclusive of the party cell registers.
Edward Bvure (30) and George Makombe (30) pleaded not guilty when they appeared before Guruve resident Magistrate Shingirai Mutiro last week.
Makombe caused drama after collapsing while giving evidence, the matter was remanded to today (Wednesday) and failed to kick after Makombe repeated the same modus operand while in remand prison.
The state alleges that the duo unlawfully entered Mbire ZANU PF offices and stole goods worth $276 which include cell registers, car starter, blankets, CD bag, 50 kg of wheat and a mosquito net.
Meanwhile, the matter came to light when the two accused sold the wheat at a local grinding meal and the complainant Stewart Simon (42) identified the empty sack at the grinding meal and filed a report at Mushumbi police station leading to the duo's arrest.
