A PROSPECT woman has hauled her former husband to court seeking a protection order for physical and emotional abuse.
Ruth Greisof also revealed that her former husband Clide Manyange was also stalking her despite them terminating their relationship.
"Your Worship, my prayer is that the court grants me a protection order against him because he is violent.
"He has a habit of stalking me wherever I go and cause commotion if a man is accompanying me.
"At one time, I was speaking to my friends when he started insulting me and became violent in front of them.
"He should be barred from coming to my workplace as well as my place of residence," she added.
In response, Clide told the court that he is not wholly opposing the application by Greisof.
"Your Worship I am not wholly opposing the application; it is difficult for me to be barred from visiting her place of residence because we have a child together.
"It is true that I go to her place of residence but I do not stalk her at all.
"Every time I visit her place of residence it is because I want to see my child," Manyange said.
Presiding magistrate Tafadzwa Miti granted the protection order in Greisof's favour.
