Former state media editor Edmund Kudzayi, who was once accused of being Baba Jukwa, has told BBC that soldiers shot unarmed peaceful protesters from the back.

Former Zanu-PF spin doctor Professor Jonathan Moyo shared the video on Kudzayi's interview on Twitter with these captions below:

"@EdmundKudzayi speaks to @BBCWorld about the Army killings of peaceful demonstrators in Harare against #ZEC & exposes the overreaction of the Army & the collusion between @ZECzim & ZanuPF that has compromised the integrity & credibility of the harmonised elections!"

"@EdmundKudzayi tells @BBCWorld that the use of brutal violence yesterday by the Zimbabwe Defense Forces, against peaceful demonstrators in Harare was a deliberate & disproportionate strategy to preempt protests against the #ZEC's apparent subversion of #NelsonChamisa victory!"

"The interview concludes with @EdmundKudzayi telling @BBCWorld that the the people behind the 2008 poll violence are behind yesterday's violence & says  it's nonsense to blame the demonstrators who were shot in the back & calls on the world to take another look at Mnangagwa!"
