MADINDA Ndlovu (not Highlanders technical manager) brought his neighbour close to tears when he insulted him with his private parts.
Ndlovu from Umguza area, Matabeleland North was charged with criminal insult after he deliberately insulted Wilson Tshuma with vulgar language.
Tshuma, who felt that the words "your mother's testicles" were "extremely offensive" to him left him so upset that he reported the loose-tongued Ndlovu to the police, leading to his subsequent arrest.
Circumstances as narrated in court are that on 25 October at Ntokozo Shops in Umguza, Ndlovu and Tshuma had a misunderstanding over an axe which Ndlovu had borrowed from the latter.
It was proved that when Tshuma demanded his axe back from Ndlovu, he refused before he turned violent and insulted him.
Fearing that Ndlovu might harm him, Tshuma who also didn't take the insult lightly rushed to the police and filed a report against Ndlovu.
For the offence Ndlovu was hauled before Bulawayo magistrate Adelaide Mbeure charged with criminal insult as defined in section 95 of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act Chapter 9:23.
Ndlovu didn't waste the court's time when he quickly admitted to making the remarks which translates as "your mother's testicles".
He was then asked to pay a fine of $30 or spend one week in prison when he failed to pay the fine.
