MDC President Nelson Chamisa has gotten a rare endorsement from ZANU PF Member of Parliament Fortune Chasi and former ZANU PF member Patrick Zhuwawo.
Chamisa had said, "Where we are going now requires us to think and act together as Zimbabweans. Our dire situation is no longer about MDC or ZANU PF but about Zimbabwe. We have a nation to build and a generation to defend. We have the power!"
Chasi said, "Way to go Mr Chamisa."
Former President Robert Mugabe's nephew Patrick Zhuwawo said, "Spoken like a true leader. Well done."
When asked about his plans for implementing the agenda to rebuild Zimbabwe Chamisa said, "Come let us reason together! No problem is ever too big enough or insurmountable when our hands and minds are put together for the common good."
Recently Chamisa has been very consistent in the recent past with statements that Zimbabweans across political divide must unite and become political blind.
On Thursday he posted that, "As we commemorate our country's cherished Independence today, the stark reality is that most are reeling from abject poverty and frustrations. State decay, corruption & violence have shuttered the 1980 uhuru dream and ruined livelihoods. Won't rest until we attain change that delivers."
