MDC President Nelson Chamisa addressed the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions May day celebrations on Wednesday where he told the huge crowd which had gathered that MDC is prepared to unleash peaceful demonstrations if Mnangagwa's government continues to disregard the cries from the people.
Chamisa who spoke from his head and not from a written speech shocked the gathering when he recognized ZANU PF President Emmerson Mnangagwa in absentia during his speech.
The firebrand leader dismissed allegations by government that MDC and civic society leaders are plotting to unseat President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
May day is a global event that is celebrated by workers.
