Bogus house agent arrested

A bogus Bindura house agent was arrested after he duped a room seeker of his US$30.
The matter came to light on Friday at Bindura magistrates courts where Walter Stolosi (25) pleaded guilty to the charge before magistrate Samantha Dhlamini.
He was fined $9000 and ordered to restitute the $30 he duped, failure to repay earns him two months in jail.
Prosecutor Edward Katsvairo told the court that on January 11 Raymond Kasoche was looking for a room to let and went to Stolosi's 718 Nyathi street in Bindura looking for a house and he ordered him to pay $30 inorder to get a room.
Kasoche managed to pay $20 and Stolosi promised to facilitate a room for him.
Kasoche paid the balance the next day and the convict failed to facilitate the room as agreed.
A police report was filed leading to the arrest of Stolosi who was charged with fraud.
