CID Officer Dies in Muzarabani-Centenary Highway Crash

MUZARABANI - A Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officer, Detective Sergeant Moyo, tragically died last night in a head-on collision at the 10-kilometre peg along the Muzarabani-Centenary highway.
Moyo, who was stationed at Mvurwi Police, was driving a Toyota Vitz (registration number AFD 3452) with one passenger on board when the accident occurred.
According to sources, a speeding and unregistered Toyota Dyna encroached into the oncoming lane, resulting in a fatal crash that killed Moyo instantly.
