Prophet rapes University student on a mountain

BINDURA - A self-proclaimed prophet from Bindura has appeared in court facing allegations of raping a university student under the guise of an exorcism.
Maison Masora (27) of Aerodrome, Bindura, was remanded in custody to December 1 by magistrate Shailla Nazombe.
Prosecutor Clever Nyapfani told the court that on November 20, Masora allegedly offered the complainant a lift in his commuter omnibus, during which they exchanged contact details. He later invited her to his prayer mountain.
The court heard that Masora instructed the student to bring fresh milk and a clay bowl as part of a supposed ritual. After she complied, he allegedly claimed her life was in danger and that he needed to remove harmful elements from her stomach.
Masora is accused of then sexually assaulting the complainant. The student later reported the incident to a university official and her sister before filing a police report, leading to Masora's arrest.
The case continues.
