Woman kills husband over SIM card

A 37-year-old woman from Bulawayo has appeared in court facing a murder charge following the death of her husband during a domestic dispute allegedly sparked by a missing SIM card.
Sibonakaliso Ndlovu appeared before the Bulawayo Magistrates' Court, where she was not asked to plead. She was remanded in custody until March 19.
The State alleges that on March 4, Ndlovu had a misunderstanding with her husband, Bekezela Dube (40), over a missing SIM card.
During the altercation, Ndlovu allegedly pushed Dube to the ground before striking him once below the left eye with a brick.
Dube reportedly died while being taken to a clinic.
Prosecutors further allege that before his death, Dube managed to recount the circumstances of the assault to other individuals, who later reported the matter to the police, leading to Ndlovu's arrest.
The case continues, with investigations ongoing.
