Two Buhera men arrested over alleged cattle theft

Police in Muzokomba have arrested two men in connection with a stock‑theft case involving a stolen cow in Buhera.
The suspects, identified as Thomas Mukwazhi (23) and Munashe Mukwazhi (21), were arrested on 5 June 2026 after police acted on a tip‑off linking them to the alleged offence.
According to police, the pair allegedly stole a cow from Dune Village in Buhera before selling it in Manyika Village, also in the district.
Police confirmed that the stolen cow has since been recovered.
Authorities have urged members of the public to continue providing information that may assist in combating crime, particularly stock theft, which remains a major concern in rural communities.
Investigations are ongoing.
