The state of journalism ethics in Zimbabwe report launch

The Voluntary Media Council of Zimbabwe (VMCZ) will on Tuesday 3, September 2013 launch a report entitled "The State of Journalism Ethics in Zimbabwe" at the Ambassador Hotel, Quill Club at 6pm.
The study was conducted by Dr Wallace Chuma, a media studies senior lecturer at the Centre for Film and Media Studies at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
The study highlights the state of the media in Zimbabwe and juxtaposes the findings to the journalistic ethics and professional expectations.
The chairperson of the VMCZ Training Committee Mr Cris Chinaka will speak at the same launch on the topic: "Media Ethics and Professionalism in Zimbabwe: The coverage of the 2013 Harmonized Elections."
NB: The VMCZ will at the launch meeting collect membership fees from those interested in updating their membership. The membership fee is $10 per annum.
