ZANU-PF's national fundraising committee will this Friday host a dinner dance to raise funds for the party's 14th Annual National People's Conference to be held in Chinhoyi from December 10 to 15 this year.
Vice President Joyce Mujuru will be the guest of honour at the function that will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre from 6pm.
Addressing the media this morning, Zanu-PF spokesperson Rugare Gumbo said the revolutionary party would require at least $3 million to successfully stage the event.
He said those willing to attend the dinner would have to pay for tables.
"Platinum is $100 000, Gold is $50 000, silver is $30 000, bronze is $10 000 and general is $2 000. Individual tickets will be selling at $200," said Gumbo who was flanked by Deputy Secretary for Finance Charles Tawengwa and a member of the fundraising committee Felix Mhona.
He said there would be an exhibition expo at the Chinhoyi Municipality Park from December 12-15 during the conference.
Those willing to exhibit, Gumbo said, would have to contact the same people.
"The exhibition expo may be opened by His Excellency. We intend that when he has finished planting the tree as he always does then perhaps he can open the business expo," said Gumbo.
He said the party would use a makeshift venue for the conference adding that plans to construct the actual convention centre would proceed.
Material for the temporary structure, Gumbo said, was already in the country.
