Hubby accused of using karate skills on wife

A woman from Harare has accused her husband, who holds a karate black belt, for using his skills on her and harassing her. Florence Toringa made her plea before Harare Magistrate Lynne Manyika accusing her husband James Muripira of being adulterous and using his 'Bruce Lee' karate black belt tactics on her whenever she questioned him about his adulterous tendencies.
Florence told the court that she has had enough of the harassment and assault from her ninja husband.
"I moved from my husband on March 5 because he harasses me and assaults me." "He blames me for being adulterous yet he has several girlfriends and he is too possessive."
"He doesn't allow me to use my cell phone he blames me for calling other men let alone do business like other women. He doesn't trust me," Florence narrated. However James revealed that his wife indeed was adulterous as she had been involved with a teacher at their daughter's school. She was soliciting her own 'extra lessons' from the teacher with whom she allegedly plays hide-the-gologo.
"I found out that she was receiving calls from this number and I asked her and she lied to me saying it was a friend of hers." "Back in 2008 she had introduced me to this man saying he was her relative then I discovered in 2009 that it was a lie."
"The very same teacher from my daughter's school came whilst I was bathing and I heard her turn him away saying baba varipo (my husband's home)." Florence counter-argued saying, "He is lying. I only called my daughter's teacher for textbooks for my daughter nothing more and I'm surprised how I could have an affair with my daughter's teacher." Magistrate Lynne Manyika deferred ruling to today.
