A 30-year-old lustful Harare man allegedly fondled the breasts of his neighbour's wife after following the woman to her bedroom.
Chiwaka Chaipa allegedly first grabbed the woman's hand while he was drinking beer at her tuckshop, only stopping after the woman's husband intervened.
Undeterred, Chaipa then allegedly went to wait for the woman at her house. The unsuspecting woman later arrived home and was shocked to find Chaipa there.
He subsequently followed her as she made her way to the bedroom, allegedly fondling her breasts and attempting to remove her clothes. The woman pushed him against a wall during the resultant tussle. She then ran outside where she met her husband who had run home soon after learning of the incident from their neighbours.
The couple made a police report, leading to his arrest. Last week, Chaipa appeared before Harare regional magistrate Ms Tsatsawani Ndaba facing indecent assault charges.
His trial is scheduled to take place on January 20 after he was granted free bail. Mr Desire Chidanire prosecuted.
