MPs turn to crossborder trading

MDC-T legislator for Zengeza East Alexio Musundire yesterday claimed MPs were now fundraising through crossborder trading due to withholding of Constituency Development Funds.  

Musundire said this while debating a motion he introduced in the National Assembly calling on government to disburse finances allocated to political parties through the Political Parties Finances Act and CDF from MPs.

Meanwhile, the 27 parliamentarians who got stuck in china after they missed their fight back home on Sunday were now expected to jet in this afternoon despite earlier indications that they would arrive in Harare yesterday.
