Mugabe leaves for Sata burial

President Robert Mugabe will be among African leaders at the burial of Zambian leader, President Michael Sata who died two weeks ago.
Mugabe has already arrived in the Zambian capital, Lusaka ahead of President Sata's burial at the Embassy Park, the burial site for the country's presidents, where two other Zambian leaders, Levy Mwanawasa and Fredrick Chiluba are buried.
President Mugabe, who is also in Zambia in his capacity as the SADC Chairperson, was accompanied by senior government officials.
President Sata died in London two weeks ago after a battle with an undisclosed illness.
His deputy, Guy Scott took over power on an interim bases before polls to elect a new leader are held within 90 days.
The late Zambian leader once worked in the Kaunda and Chiluba administrations.
He became the fifth Zambian president in the 2011 elections after defeating Zimbabwean born, Rupiya Banda, who had taken over power after the death of President Mwanawasa.
Meanwhile, the ZBC will broadcast live the burial of President Sata tomorrow courtesy of the Zambian National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC).
